I’ve lived my life drawn to books and to the written word. My family owned a book bindery and as all good family businesses do, they put the kids to work.

I graduated with a B.A. in English from St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn) while working as a bookseller in midtown Manhattan to support myself.

After college, I spent 5 years as a Literary Agent in NY, acquiring talent and working with bestselling authors. Part of that process involved deep editorial work to tighten up partial and full length manuscripts to make saleable to publishers. I spent another 5 years working as a subsidiary rights consultant.

Since then, I have spent 15 years in various marketing roles focusing on content strategy and competitive messaging across multiple industries such as real estate, pharma, and the trades.

I am not a “Book Doctor”. I offer no guarantee that editing book manuscripts will result in publication or agent representation - getting a book published is more than a case of a cleanly edited work. However, if you are going the self-pub route and you’d like to give the work an edit, we can explore that option.
